GV 1

Location

Midway between the tip of the coccyx and the anus, locating the point in prone position.

Indication

Hemorrhoids, bloody feces, dull head, vomiting of blood, constipation, pain in lower back, diarrhea, impotence, mania.

Opens the Ren and Du channels, and regulates the intestines.

Location

In the hiatus of the sacrum.

Indication

Pain and stiffness of the lower back, irregular menstruation, coldness and numbness of the feet, enuresis, hemorrhoids.

Location

Below the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra, level with the crista iliaca.

Indication

Irregular menstruation, nocturnal emission, impotence, pain in the lumbosacral area, muscular atrophy, motor impairment, numbness and pain of the lower extremities. Regulates the Kidney Qi, benefits the lower back and knees, eliminates Cold-Damp.

Location

Below the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra.

Indication

Stiffness of the back, lumbago, impotence, nocturnal emission, irregular menstruation, diarrhea, indigestion, leukorrhea. Nourishes Yuan Qi and strengthens the Kidneys, benefits the lumbar vertebrae.
