PC 1

Location

In the fourth intercostal space, 1 cun lateral to the nipple.

Indication

Feeling oppressed in the chest, febrile disease with anhidrosis, flushing, headache, asthma, axillary swelling pain, hypochondriac pain, goiter.

PC 2

Location

2 cun below the level of the anterior axillary fold, between the two heads of m. bicepts brachii.

Indication

Cardiac pain, hypochondriac distention, cough, palpitation, pain in medial upper arm.

PC 3

Location

On the transverse cubital crease, at the ulnar side of the tendon of m. biceps brachii.

Indication

Cardiac pain, palpitation, febrile diseases, irritability, stomach ache, vomiting, pain in the elbow and arm, trmor of the hand and arm.

Notes

Sooths and lowers the adverse floe of qi in upper energizer, clears heat-fire, removes heat in blood.

PC 4

Location

5 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist, on the line connecting P 3 and P 7, between the tendons of m. palmaris longus and m. flexor carpi radialis.

Indication

Cardiac pain, palpitation, epistaxis, hematemeses, haemoptysis chest pain, furuncle, epilepsy. Pacifies the heart, calms the spirit, regulates qi, expands the diaphragm.

PC 5

Location

3 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist, between the tendons of m. palmaris longus and m. flexor carpi radialis.

Indication

Cardiac pain, palpitation, stomachache, vomiting, febrile diseases, irritability, malaria, mental disorders, epilepsy, swelling of the axilla, contracture of the elbow and arm. Calms the spirit, harmonizes the Stomach, eliminates phlegm.

PC 6

Location

2 cun above transverse crease of wrist, between tendons of m. palmaris longus and m. flexor radialis.

Indication

Cardiac pain, palpitation, stuffy chest, pain in hypochondriac region, stomachache, nausea, vomiting, hiccup, mental disorders, epilepsy, insomnia, febrile diseases, irritability, malaria, contracture and pain of elbow and arm. Calms the heart and spirit, regulates qi, suppresses pain.

PC 7

Location

In the middle of the transverse crease of the wrist, between the tendons of m. palmaris longus and m. flexor carpi radialis.

Indication

Febrile disease with anhirosis, cardiac pain, feverish sensation in palms, headache, palpitation, stomachache, vomiting, mental disorders, insomnia, hypochondriac pain.

Notes

Clears the Heart, calms the spirit, harmonizes the Stomach, expands the chest.

PC 8

Location

On the transverse crease of the palm, between the second and third metacarpal bones. When the fist is clenched, the point is just below the tip of the mddle finger.

Indication

Fainting due to CVA, numbness or convulsion in the hand, continuous epistaxis, hiccup, cardiac pain, gastritis, hyperhidrosis in the palms, anorexia.

Notes

Cools the heart, drains heat.

PC 9

Location

In the center of the tip of the middle finger.

Indication

Cardiac pain, palpitation, loss of consciousness, aphasia with stiffness and swelling of the tongue, febrile diseases, heat stroke, convulsion, fevrish sensation in the palm.

Cools the heart, drains heat, opens heart passage.
