Location

On the lateral side of the ring finger about 0.1 cun posterior to the corner of the nail.

Indication

Headache, redness of the eyes, sore throat, stiffness of the tongue, febrile diseases, irritability.

Notes

Resolves pathogenic heat of triple energizer

TE 2

Location

When the fist is clenched, the point is located in the depression proximal to the margin of the web between the ring and small fingers.

Indication

Headache, reddish and dry eyes, deafness, pain in shoulder and arm. aversion to cold and fever in turn.

Notes

 

TE 3

Location

Opposite (proximal to) web between 4th and 5th fingers.

Indication

Headache, reddish eyes, deafness, tinnitus, sore throat, febrile diseases, pain in the elbow and arm, motor impairment of fingers.

Notes

Circulates qi, benefits the ear.

TE 4

Location

Located on transverse crease of wrist, in depression medial to tendon of m.extensor digitorum communis.

Indication

Febrile diseases without sweating, pain in the shoulder and arm, weakness and pain in waist, deafness, thirst.

Notes

Relaxes sinews, clears channels, relieves heat.

TE 5

Location

2 cun above transverse crease of wrist between radius and ulna.

Indication

Febrile diseases without sweating, headache, pain in the cheek, strained neck, deafness, tinnitus, hypochondriac pain, pain the arms, hand tremor.

Notes

Relieves exterior, clears heat, circulates stagnant qi in channels.

TE 6

Location

3 cun above TE 4

Indication

Febrile diseases with anhidrosis, pain and heavy sensation of the shoulder and arm, tinnitus, vomiting, constipation, cardiacache, intercostal neuralgia.

Notes

Spreads qi, disperses obstructions, opens Intestines.

TE 7

Location

At the level with TE 6, about one finger-breadth lateral to TE 6 on the radial side of the ulna.

Indication

Deafness, pain in the ear, epilepsy, pain of the arm.

Notes

 

TE 8

Location

4 cun above TE 4

Indication

Deafness, sudden hoarseness of voice, pain in the chest and hypochondriac region, pain in the arms, toothache.

Notes

Cures weakness, clears channels and sensory orifices.

TE 9

Location

On the posterior side of the forearm, 5 cun below the olecranon, between the radius and ulna.

Indication

Sudden deafness, lower toothache, migraine, sudden hoarseness of voice, pain in the forearm.

Notes

 

TE10

Location

When the elbow is flexed, in the depression about 1 cun superior to the olecranon.

Indication

chest pain, cough, short breath, anorexia, migraine, pain in the neck, shoulder and arm, scrofula, goiter.

Notes

Removes phlegm and dampness in channels, calms fire in triple energizer

TE 11

Location

One cun above TE 10 when the elbow is flexed.

Indication

Motor impairment and pain of the shoulder and arm, migraine.

Notes

 

TE 12

Location

On the line joining the olecranon and TE 14, midway between TE 11 and TE 13.

Indication

Headache, neck rigidity, motor impairment and pain of the arm.

Location

On the line joining the olecranon and TE 14, on the posterior border of m. deltoideus.

Indication

Goiter, sore throat, pain in the shoulder and arm.
