BL 62

Location

In the depression directly below the external malleolus.

Indication

Epilepsy, mania, headache, dizziness, insomnia, backache, aching of the leg.

Notes

Disperses outer pathogen, removes dampness, opens yang heel vessel.

BL 61

Location

Posterior nd inferior to the external malleolus, directly below UB 60, in the depression of calcaneum at the junction of the red and white skin

Indication

Muscular atrophy and weakness of the lower extremities, pain in the heel.

Notes

 

BL 59

Location

3 cun directly above UB 60.

Indication

Heavy sensation of the head, headache, low back pain, redness and swelling of the external mallelous, paralysis of the lower extremities.

Notes

 

GB 29

Location

In the depression of the midpoint between the anterosuperior iliac spine and the greater trochanter.

Indication

Pain and numbness in the thigh and lumbar region, paralysis, muscular atrophy of the lower limbs.

SI 10

Location

When the arm is adGVcted, the point is directly above SI 9, in the depression inferior to the scapular spine.

Indication

Swelling of the shoulder, aching and weakness of the shoulder and arm.

Notes

 

LI 15

Location

Located Antero-inferior to acromiun, on upper portion of m.deltoideus. When arm is in full abduction, point is in the depression appearing at the anterior border of acromioclavicular joint.

Indication

Pain in shoulder arms, motor impairment of upper extremities, rubella, scrofula.

Disperses wind & dampness in meridians,

LI 16

Location

Located in upper aspect of shoulder, in depression between acromial extremity of clavicle and scapular spine.

Indication

Pain in shoulder and arms, spiting blood.

Notes

Dissipates blood stasis and clears the channels.

ST 4

Location

On the lateral side of the 2nd toe, 0.1 cun posterior to the corner of the nail.

Indication

Fainting, distention in the chest and abdomen, febrile disease without sweating or with anorexia, facial swelling, coldness in the leg and foot, edema, epistaxis, toothache, sore throat and hoarse voice, dreaminess, mania, indigestion..

Notes

Open channels, relieves shock, regulates stomach, clears consciousness

ST 3

Location

Directly below ST 2, at the level of the lower border of ala nasi, on the lateral side of the nasolabial groove.

Indication

Facial paralysis, conjunctivitis, shortsight, twitching of the eyelids, epistaxis, toothache, swelling of the lips and cheek.

Notes

 

ST 1

Location

With the eyes looking straight forward, the point is directly below the pupil, between the eyeball and the infraorbital ridge.

Indication

Facial paralysis. general eye disease.

Notes

Eliminates wind, disperses heat, removes pathogenic factors and clears the vision.

BL 1

Location

0.1 cun superior to the inner canthus.

Indication

Redness, swelling and pain of the eye, itching of the canthus, lacrimation, night blindness, color blindness, blurring of vision, myopia.

Notes

Disperses wind, drains fire, nourishes water and clears vision.

GB 20

Location

Just inferior to occipital bone, between trapezius and sternocleidomastoid attachments.

Indication

Febrile diseases with anhidrosis, neckache, lacrimination, epistaxis, headache, vertigo, insomnia, blurred vision, glaucoma, red and painful eyes, deafness, convulsion, CVA, nasal obstruction, rhinorrhea.

Notes

Disperses wind-heat, benefits hearing and vision.

ST 4

Location

On the lateral side of the 2nd toe, 0.1 cun posterior to the corner of the nail.

Indication
