"'This vessel intersects Zhubin (KI-9), Chongmen (SP-12), Fushe (SP- 13), Daheng (SP- 15), Fuai (SP-l6), Qimen (LI 14), Tiantu (LI-22), and Lianquan (LI-23).

KI 9

Location

5 cun directly above K 3 at the lower end of the belly of m. gastrocnemius, on the line drawn from K 3 to K 10.

Indication

Mental disorders, pain in medial lower leg.

Notes

 

SP 13

Location

0.7 cun laterosuperior to SP 12, 4 cun lateral to CV meridian.

Indication

Lower abdominal pain, accumulation or mass in abdomen.

Notes

 

SP 15

Location

Four cun lateral to the center of the umbilicus, lateral to m. rectus abdominis.

Indication

Dysentery, abdominal distension, low abdominal pain, hyperhidrosis, constipation.

Notes

 

SP 16

Location

Three cun above SP 15, 4 cun lateral to CV 11.

Indication

Bloody pus feces, abdominal pain, pain around the navel, indigestion, constipation, dysentery.

Notes

 

LR 14

Location

Directly below the nipple, in the sixth intercostal space.

Indication

Hypochondriac pain, cardiac pain, cough, fullness of the chest, hiccup, indigestion.

Notes

Removes pathogenic heat from blood restore, resolves phlegm, dissipates blood stasis, calms the liver.

CV 22

Location

In the center of the suprasternal fossa.

Indication

Asthma, cough, sore throat, dry throat, hiccup, sudden hoarseness of the voice, difficulty in swallowing, goiter.

Notes

 

CV 23

Location

Above the Adam? apple, in the depression of the upper border of the hyoid bone.

Indication

Swelling and pain of the subglossal region, salivation with glossoplegia, cough, thirst, sudden hoarseness of the voice, diffuculty in swallowing.
